lyrics
Galaxy, galaxy, will you be my doorway?
I can see entities, floating all through space.
Galaxy, galaxy, I will be my doorway.
I can come into you, unfurl in the sun.
And she said, I will be your doorway.
I will take you home. I will be your stairway.
I will make you whole.
Galaxy, galaxy, will you be my window?
Volunteer, volunteer, will you take me home?
Galaxy, galaxy, will you be my stairway?
We are here, we are here, we are all but one.
And she said, I will be your stairway.
I will take you home. I will be your doorway.
I will make you whole.
Galaxy, galaxy, will you be my doorway?
I can see entities, floating in your face.
And she said, I will be your doorway.
I will take you home. I will be your stairway.
I will make you whole.
A true hidden treasure of a song writer. This gent has been capturing songs in demo form on old tape recorders since the 80s. . . and he's still capturing his magic sounds in his secret basement. Damien Youth
Excellent medieval folk, IGR, & those with ears to hear. I love the sense of mysticism and deep, introspective ponder this album conveys, & the honest down-to-earth folky lyrics. Simply wonderful yet soulfully rich. Highlights for me are tracks 2, 5, 6, & 12. IGR truly capture what I feel is an authentic sense of a medieval bard at a woodland rill pondering the mysteries of life. Highly recommended. 8.5+/10. Alrihkh
Done in medieval, wyrdfolk and psychedelic style, there is a deep bell to open and close the recording. An allegorical tale using alchemy as a backdrop, it is very pastoral and haunting. Some instruments included are viola, nyckelharpa, and dulcimer, along with acoustic and electric guitars, keyboards and percussion. The phantasmagoric story that ensues once the vocals begin is best listened to from start to finish for full effect. Favourite Track: The Serpent Nickie Harte Kelly
