The Oracle 03:58
I am the Oracle you seek, the prince of waters flowing all through the ages. Soul enchantress close your eyes & sleep. I've walked the hallways of your soul, in fields of dreams I felt the wings of an angel. Melanie, do you remember me? I am the stranger from the well, on white horse riding gallant, the ghost of Valhalla. The immortal child of Zaatar. The golden dawn, the chosen one, the prophet, the oracle's son. Oh princess of the shining flame, wings tipped god's hourglass & shattered the ages. Spirits pass through wind chimes singing, the orphan songs to lonely ones a harem of angels sing. Within the palace of my gaze, your subtle glances flutter like wings of a butterfly. Child of Lilith you belong to me. I am the stranger from the well, you are my nightingale, the girl from the woodlocks. Unlatch the window, hear my serenade. You are the one, my golden dawn, the moon & the stars & the sun. You are the one, my golden dawn, the moon & the stars & the sun.

And the reason we laugh is for one day well cry Like the reason we live is for one day we'll die And the reason we give is cause one day we'll steal here's a song for a world that can't feel. She was once a good friend of mine we would gather up stones & we'd laugh all the time she'd paint pictures & maps of the stars & her eyes would fill up the night She was once a lover of mine we would sit in her garden & drink all her wine blow out candles & talk about god in the dark then we'd sleep in the yard And the reason we laugh is for one day well cry Like the reason we live is for one day we'll die And the reason we give is cause one day we'll steal here's a song for a world that can't feel. Winter came & it carried no torch it just fogged up the windows & stood on the porch The flower she planted is hiding it's face as it bends and dies in the wind And the lantern lit up our room as we drew all the tarots & cast all the runes then she'd take down her hair & she'd lay in my arms cause that's where she belonged And the reason we laugh is for one day well cry Like the reason we live is for one day we'll die And the reason we give is cause one day we'll steal here's a song for a world that can't feel. She was once a soul mate of mine 'till she packed up her clothing, her books & her wine she wrote me a note that said "Oh, honey don't cry, but I can't say goodbyes" And the sun went down early that day as the stars came out twinkling like demons at play and tears fill my eyes when I think of the words you can't say Like "Why did you go away?" And the reason we laugh is for one day well cry Like the reason we live is for one day we'll die And the reason we give is cause one day we'll steal here's a song for a world that can't feel.

The Other Side (free) 02:28
I saw her running through a field chasing dragonflies then lying in a bed of clovers she closed her haunted eyes As evening shadows crept around her lying in the wedding gown she found in that old empty house on the other side of town In this feather box I keep the golden locket that she dropped I take it out before I sleep & place it in my pocket in hopes that it will summon her to me & she will slip into my sleeping to kiss me in my haunted dreams & snatch the golden locket She paints a picture in a field I hide behind the water mill then watch the canvas soon reveal a figure wandering silent she paints a child inside his eyes she lays the brush down as she cries I’m sorry that he had to die but it’s too late for now he’s passed to the other side

The Throne 04:41
I wished on a star wrote you a song gave you a book of poems I built a throne for you I took you away covered your eyes tried to drink all your sorrows I laid hands on you If I'd known the truth that you were only seeking refuge and my world was new yes my world seemed far less cruel I'd not have bartered my days for my world would also come to age and you'd go away Back to his arms, for now they're warm the place where you belong I saw you today, you were outside saw you in your garden through the yellow windows of the evening bus I said to my friend, you were the one who taught me to say "I love you" but now I can't say "trust". But you knew the truth, I was building worlds around you I could not hear you cry for I placed you on a throne far too high So I could not see you fall So there was no way for me to ever catch you While my back was turned You had flown, back to his arms the place where you belong. I'm alone on this stage where love had been played curtains close, you're in your home I close the show for you I'll pack up the dream lock up that room take off all of my makeup I built a throne for you "We" knew the truth, that we were only seeking refuge Our would seemed new now our world seems just as cruel as we've bartered our days in vein for our world would also come to age and you'd go away... back to his arms for now they're warm. The place where you belong. I wished on a star wrote you a song gave you a book of poems I built a throne for you
