Holiday 03:00
I still don't know what I am waiting for I feel my spirit soar and this chamber door that's locking me down I found the key but I never said a word about it I make believe I'm in a different place I've got my heart on race and I'm fucking with my serotonin I trick the days into turning me to somebody else Now I'm staring through the cold eye arrived at yesterday's horizons Rumbling through the rat holes going on with nowhere to go And I don't want to waste my life here waiting for another sad year to take me to those tables waiting surrounded by those same old faces staring at me I don't want to be there and I don't want this world to go on I don't want to be there and I don't want this world to go on I don't know what we are doing here we've made it very clear that we don't belong in each other's lives but here we are drunk and soulless in the still of the night Counterfeiting all my cavalier days back when my wanton ways always led me to those warming embers but now your flame's burned and I don't give a fuck about it I'm just going through the motions trying to not think about it And I don't want to waste my life here waiting for another sad year to take me to those tables waiting surrounded by those same old faces.. thinking, we don't want to be here but we don't want to talk about it we don't want to be here but we don't want to talk about it No, we don't want to be here but we don't want to talk about it

Crashing In 04:05
It was one of those nights when it all comes crashing in You're saying goodbye through your eyes to your only friend And though your words are chosen and you never let on he could still hear the pain in your siren song still... he never even tried to put his arm around you It was one of those days when you're looking for a new direction Tearing up the pavements looking for a soul protection But it's one of those towns where you can't get lost and unless you take the road where the streets don't cross. You'll be doing this again pulling at the reins of depression You are alone... You are . . . It was one of those times when it all catches up to you You're still on your own and there's nothing else that you can do Well you can try to pretend to be somebody else but if that's what he wants then you're still by yourself sleeping like a whore or a child in a stranger's room. Sleeping like a whore or a child in a stranger's room. It's one of those nights when the wind is blowing wild and you remember to yourself from the time that you were a child dreaming like an angel in your family home waking to the sound of the sparrow song now you're up here all alone drinking in the lap of depression You never thought you'd be here on your own drinking in the lap of depression You're all alone... You are... It was one of those nights when it all comes crashing in You're saying goodbye in your mind to your only friend Though he's laying right beside you in a chamber sleep You're still waiting for that stranger out there wandering the street Will he ever come to get you and take you where you want to be? Will he ever come to get you and take you far away from me?

Josie 03:39
Boys, boys, she never gets tired, she's always hanging around Boys, boys, She'll never retire, she'll always be the talk of this town And if these cannibals don't eat her up, then someone rich is gonna snatch her up And if she cannot make the clocks rewind, then she'll have herself another bottle of wine She said, Boys, boys, you know I'm really wild, I'll drink you under these tables Girls, girls with your daggers for eyes, looking me down, like Cain looked at Able And I've always been a street cat And I know when not to turn my back From the cities to the small towns All the same lonely faces come gathering 'round And she said, Boy, boy. look in my eyes, I'll only do this for you And oh, boy, I'd even retire, if you'd only take me back to your room And if you take away the spotlight I'd trade it in for daylight And I'd walk with you into the sun Through those silent fields we both would run away. Until they said, Boys, boys, she never got tired, look who's hanging around Oh, boy, I knew she'd never retire, she'll always be, the talk of this same old town

I am afraid nothing will change the world will go on this way If the passing of days does not bring on change and nothing is happening I will be forced to stay in my room Cursed be to the sun Cursed be to the moon I will be forced to stay in my home here on my own afraid and alone oh and it's true, the world is an enemy Leave me alone, I've stopped fighting entropy I'm not designed to live in this time of death and debauchery Where the poet is scorned and while his poetry burns the killer gains infamy I wont resign, to wasting my only time trapped in a maze of cold heartless lonely days You were so shy and you loved to hide behind your astrology Now you're as far as the cold lonely stars that you swore brought you here to me And now we live in a world of affairs don't talk about love, because it doesn't mean I care close the door, that was before, now I don't need you anymore I wont resign, to wasting my only time trapped in a maze of cold heartless lonely days
