mandy build me a totem
she's cutting out pictures of manta rays
she stands up naked with a painted face
She's into modern witchcraft
she wears her hair like a hippie child
she sits on the floor with eyes of fire

and when she looks at you
you feel her spirit burning through
she sucks you into night
then pushes you out the other side

mandy's electric people
she swears they all have tentacles
and speak to her through animals
they look a lot like Jesus
except they all have funny grins
and laugh when she takes her medicine

and when she's feeling low
she lays down naked on the floor
she's hiding razor blades
then checks the windows and the doors

we have a secret garden
right behind the silver dome
where me and mandy sit alone
she smashes all the toadstools

now mandy's bleeding light
